PerkVault (“the App”) is a personal credit card benefits tracking application developed by Stonham Studios LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use PerkVault on your iOS or macOS device.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. PerkVault is designed with a local-first approach — the vast majority of your data never leaves your device.

Information We Collect

Data You Provide — Stored Locally On Your Device

All personal and financial information you enter into PerkVault is stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This includes:

  • Credit and charge card names, networks, and annual fees
  • Card benefit details, dollar values, and usage amounts
  • Rewards balances and redemption goals
  • Renewal dates and card-specific notes
  • Home airport preference
  • App settings and theme preferences

This data is never transmitted to our servers because we do not operate any servers or backend infrastructure. Your financial data remains entirely on your device at all times.

Analytics Data — Mixpanel

PerkVault uses Mixpanel to collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app.

  • Screen views and feature interactions
  • Session length and frequency
  • Device type, operating system version, and app version
  • General usage patterns

No personally identifiable information is sent to Mixpanel. Analytics data cannot be used to identify you personally.

You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time in the App’s Settings screen.

Advertising (Future)

We may introduce ads in the future. If so, this policy will be updated accordingly.

How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate app functionality
  • Improve features and performance
  • Fix bugs and optimize user experience

We do not use your information for marketing or advertising targeting.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share personal data except:

  • Mixpanel (anonymous analytics)
  • Apple (subscription processing)
  • Legal obligations if required

Data Retention

All personal data remains on your device. Deleting the app removes all stored data.

Analytics data is retained per Mixpanel’s policies.

Your Privacy Choices

  • Disable analytics in app settings
  • Delete the app to remove all data

Children’s Privacy

PerkVault is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Security

Your data is protected by your device’s built-in security (Face ID, Touch ID, encryption).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of the app means you accept updates.
